Half-term can be a busy and expensive time for families, and if you are a Carer, we understand that finding affordable meal options can make a real difference. To help ease the cost, we’ve rounded up some of the best free and discounted meal offers available in Birmingham and nationally during the February half-term.

Free and Discounted Meals in Birmingham

If you’re looking for local places offering free or budget-friendly meals for children, here are some great options:

  • Bill’s Restaurant (Bullring & Grand Central) – From 13th to 24th February, up to two children can eat free with every adult main meal purchased (for children under 10).
  • Supermarket Cafés – Morrisons, Asda, and Tesco frequently offer £1 or free meals for kids during school holidays. Check with your local store for details.
  • F1 Arcade (Birmingham City Centre) – This venue has previously offered free kids’ meals during school holidays. Keep an eye out for updated offers.
  • Birmingham City Council Support – The council has previously provided supermarket vouchers for families during the holidays. Contact your child’s school for any upcoming initiatives.

National Half-Term Meal Deals

If you’re travelling or looking for even more options, several national chains are offering great deals:

  • Morrisons Café – Free kids’ meal with any adult meal priced at £4.50 or more.
  • Asda Café – Kids eat for just £1, no adult spend required.
  • Sainsbury’s Café – Kids’ meals for £1 when an adult meal (£5.20+) is purchased.
  • Beefeater & Brewers Fayre – Two free kids’ breakfasts with every paying adult.
  • Bella Italia – Kids eat for £1 with any adult main meal (Sunday to Thursday, after 4 pm).
  • Dunelm’s Pausa Café – Free kids’ meal when an adult spends £4 or more.
  • IKEA – Kids’ meals from 95p, available daily.
  • TGI Fridays – Free kids’ meal when ordered via the app (Stripes Rewards Members only).
  • The Real Greek – Free kids’ meal on Sundays with a £10 adult spend.
  • Gordon Ramsay Restaurants – Kids eat free with an adult main at selected locations.
