By emailing us via this website and/or accepting a service from Forward Carers who manages Birmingham Carers Hub, you are agreeing to how your information will be used, stored and accessed in line with the below terms and conditions.

Forward Carers is a partnership of organisations, whose aim is to improve the physical and mental wellbeing of carers, young and old, including parent carers. Forward Carers is committed to protecting your Personal Information. We promise to be clear about the information we collect and the ways we use it. Regardless of whether you use our services, request information from us, work for, or volunteer with us, we respect your right to privacy.

In order to provide a service to you, we collect personal and /or sensitive information about you and the person you care for. Your information will be saved and stored securely on Forward Carers’ management systems. We are committed to ensuring that your Personal Information is secure. To prevent unauthorised access or disclosure we have put in place suitable physical, electronic and managerial procedures to safeguard and secure the Personal Information we collect. Any information you provide to us is confidential and kept in accordance with the General Data Protection Regulations.

If you are aged under 18, please get permission from a parent or guardian before providing any personal information to us.

We do not sell personal information onto third parties. But may pass on your personal information if we have a legal obligation to do so or if you ask us to.

Your rights

You can find out what information we hold about you and ask us not to use or delete that information we collect, at any time. The only exception to this is if we must keep information if we have a legal duty to do so.

Birmingham Carers Hub 

Forward Carers operates Birmingham Carers Hub, the Birmingham service for unpaid carers.

By registering with Birmingham Carers Hub, you can receive a service from any of our Birmingham partnership organisations and as such, your data could be accessed by them.

Birmingham Carers Hub is commissioned by Birmingham City Council, Birmingham and Solihull Clinical Commissioning Group (CCG) and Birmingham Children’s Trust. Therefore, your data could be shared with them in the case of best interests or if we have a legal obligation to do so. Using the Forward Carers website and connecting with us via Social Media

Forward Carers will collect certain information or data about you when you use this website. This includes:
