FREE Carers Rights Day 2023 Event

Carers Rights Day is an annual event held on 24 November run by Carers UK to raise awareness of Carer’s rights and what support is available.

Carers in Birmingham are invited to attend a free Carers Rights Day event organised by Forward Carers on Wednesday 22 November, 10.30 am – 2.30pm at TouchBase Pears in Selly Oak.

If you look after someone who needs your help due to a disability, serious illness, frailty or addiction, this event is for you. You do not need to be registered with Birmingham Carers Hub to attend or in receipt of welfare benefits in relation to your caring role, you are very welcome to come along.

What can I Expect from the Day?
Our event is called ‘Planning for your Whole Caring Journey’ so there will be a wealth of information and advice to help you navigate the complex world of caring. You will be able to get information about finances, planning for the future and much more.

Various organisations will be available to speak to on the day, there will be FREE:

  • Live music provided by Samantha Oxborough- Singer of the national anthem, opening ceremony at the Commonwealth games 2022!
