First Aid Training for Carers
How confident would you feel to step in and help in an emergency? The British Red Cross found that up to 59 per cent of deaths from injuries could have been prevented had first aid been carried out before emergency medical services arrived.
Having First Aid knowledge is an important skill to possess, especially if you are in a caring role so you can step in and handle medical emergencies until help arrives.
Accessing First Aid Training can equip you with the knowledge and confidence to respond to emergencies. You will learn how to assess the situation, communicate with emergency services, and provide first aid until help arrives.
By completing this FREE training specifically for unpaid Carers, you can feel more prepared to handle medical emergencies.
This interactive first aid 90-minute workshop run by experienced British Red Cross educators will help you to:
- perform essential first aid skills using every day objects
- build confidence and willingness to help in a first aid emergency
