Day Centre Consultation – ‘Your Day, Your Say’
Does the person that you care for attend a day centre?
Birmingham City Council would like to speak to people who attend day centres who may be directly affected by the council’s proposals including your views as their Carer. The council will be holding dedicated meetings with citizens and their Carers as a part of the consultation in the Centres they attend.
Birmingham City Council will be holding four public consultation meetings, two virtual and two face-to-face. The schedule is:

People can respond to the consultation by attending the public meetings and by reading the consultation document which summarises the proposals and then by completing the questionnaire. The consultation document will be available from the launch of the consultation on the 7th May, along with Frequently Asked Questions. The documentation will also be available in easy read.

If you are a partner organisation supporting citizens and/or their Carers that attend any of the nine day centres and require the schedule of targeted consultation meetings at the nine day centres or would like to contribute to the consultation or access further information, you can do this by the following ways.

The consultation will start on Tuesday 7th May 2024 and close on Tuesday 9th July 2024.
