Growing Older with Learning Disabilities and Dementia
Through a partnership with Forward Carers, Midland Mencap will help to deliver the new Birmingham Dementia Carers Pathway. Midland Mencap has a long history of working on the city’s G.O.L.D.D agenda, supporting both working age adults with a learning disability and dementia and their family Carers as they grow older together. To mark this new service to the Birmingham Carers Hub, Lara Carter from Midland Mencap will host a new virtual support group for Carers who support someone with a learning disability and dementia. The new support group will start on Monday 27 July 2020 and accommodate up to 10 Carers
Join Lara every Monday from 2.00 – 3.00pm on Zoom for support and to chat with other Carers like you. To book your place, email Lara.Carter@midlandmencap.org.uk
