Caring for a family member or friend is important. But sometimes, you might face medical situations that feel tricky.

First Aid Awareness Training can help! It gives you the skills and confidence to handle emergencies. You’ll learn how to check what’s wrong, talk to emergency services, and give first aid until help arrives.

Join us for an engaging, supportive, and interactive first aid workshop run by First Response training:

During the session, you will:

  • Learn how to respond calmly and effectively in a situation or an emergency, giving you the confidence to act when it matters most.
  • Practice managing someone who is unresponsive, ensuring you understand how to provide the best care possible.
  • Gain hands-on experience in adult resuscitation, including the use of an AED (Automated External Defibrillator), a skill that could save a life.
  • Learn how to help someone who is choking, an essential skill for everyday safety.
  • Understand how to recognise and treat bleeding and shock, giving you the tools to manage injuries effectively.
  • Explore how to treat burns safely and confidently, reducing the risk of complications.

We look forward to supporting you on this learning journey and helping you feel more confident as a Carer.
