About this event
Creative Writing Workshops for Carers
Join us for a series of Creative Writing Workshops designed just for Carers in Birmingham!
As part of our 10 year celebration of Forward Carers, we have an exciting opportunity to help Carers showcase their creative writing skills at the Birmingham Museum & Art Gallery. We are looking for Carers who want to share their experiences through creative writing. This is your opportunity to have your work considered for display in a month-long exhibition in August, raising awareness of the incredible role Carers play in our communities.
Whether you’re a passionate writer or are keen to express yourself, these workshops will provide a supportive and inspiring environment to explore your creativity. You’ll learn new techniques, share your work with others, and receive valuable feedback. You may use these sessions to simply build your creative writing skills, or you can choose to use the workshops to create your personal Carers story to submit to be part of the exhibition.
Don’t miss this opportunity to connect with fellow Carers and nurture your passion for writing. The workshops will be held at The Wellbeing Zone in Library of Birmingham, so mark your calendars and get ready to unleash your creativity!
