Caring for Carers Dementia Awareness – Behaviours & Carers Tips – 2 Times Available
Every Tuesday we have 2 session times to choose from –
10.30am – 11.30am
12.30pm – 1.30pm
Coping with challenging behaviour and communicating with a person with dementia can be difficult and take its toll on their carers.
During this topic we will cover –
• What causes behavioural changes?
• Types of challenging behaviours
• Tried and tested tips shared and used by carers
This topic offers you time to discuss with others your concerns and tips to cope with, and manage stressful situations.
Zoom
As face-to-face training is still not possible, this topic is available via Zoom. Our experienced Trainer, Val will cover all aspects that she would go through with you in person and you will still get to ‘virtually meet’ others in a similar situation, to share experiences and listen.
