Aquarius Action Projects
Aquarius was established in Birmingham over 40 years ago to empower people to overcome the harms caused by alcohol, drugs, and gambling. Supporting people across the age spectrum, their expertise changes the lives of both individuals experiencing personal addiction and affected family members and friends.
New Project: Care Connect
Care Connect is designed for Carers of all ages who are caring for those affected by substance misuse and gambling issues, whether adults seeking guidance or young Carers looking for support, Care Connect is here to offer support. For adult Carers, fortnightly group sessions led by experts provide a platform to share, learn, and grow with fellow Carers. Young Carers and the children of the adult Carers they support can engage in fun family activities, outings to exciting places, and creative workshops.
Experienced in supporting those affected by substance misuse, and with a deep understanding of Carers’ needs, Care Connect creates a supportive community tailored just for you. Carers who join can expect to take a break, make new friends, and find the support you deserve. You can self-refer into the service or be referred by any professional using the details below.
