Help to Improve Home Care Services in Birmingham

Healthwatch Birmingham is seeking to understand what life is like for people who rely on domiciliary services in Birmingham. Therefore, we want to hear your experience of the care and support you receive in your home. This questionnaire should be completed by service users and/or their family member/carer.

How long will the questionnaire take to complete?
The questionnaire should take you no more than 10 minutes to complete. Please answer all questions where possible unless asked otherwise. You have until 12 January 2025 to complete the questionnaire.

Confidentiality
Your answers will be confidential. Your care worker(s), social worker, case manager or anyone involved in providing you with home care or other help will not see your responses unless you choose to share them. All experiences shared will be anonymised with no names used in writing the report.

The survey results
The findings and recommendations from the results will be shared with the commissioner (Birmingham City Council/BSOL ICB) with a request for action to address these. A report containing the findings, recommendations and actions from the commissioner will be published on our website and shared with stakeholders. We will follow up six months following the publication of the report to make sure changes are made.
