Survey of Adult Carers in England
From Monday 2 October, the national 2023-24 Survey of Adult Carers in England will start to be distributed to the homes of randomly selected Carers who are registered with Birmingham Carers Hub. The survey is being carried out by Birmingham Carers Hub on behalf of Birmingham Adult Social Care and NHS England.
Carers will be asked about their views of caring, the support they receive and their quality of life. Carers’ responses are confidential and will not be passed on to anyone directly providing them with services.
Carers have been selected at random if over the last 12 months they have had contact with Birmingham Adult Social Care or Birmingham Carers Hub including partner organisations working on behalf of BASC, such as Birmingham Carers Hub (including partners from the list below).
Organisations that provide services on behalf of Birmingham Carers Hub include:
- ACP (East Birmingham Collective including Narthex, Small Heath Community Forum)
- Action for Children
- Age Concern Birmingham
- Chinese Community Centre Birmingham
- Headway Birmingham & Solihull
- Midland Mencap
- OSCAR Birmingham
- YMCA (Sutton Coldfield)
The more people who compete and return the survey, the more useful the results will be to help and improve local services for Carers. Your information is kept confidential and the deadline to return the questionnaire in the pre-paid envelope is Thursday 30 November 2022.
If you do not wish to take part, you can return the survey blank so you are not contacted again.
