Without the right skills and techniques\, these tasks can lead to injuries for both for yourself as the Carer and the person you are supporting. This Moving and Handling training will equip you with some of the practical knowledge and confidence to assist someone with mobility safely. But sometimes\, you might face medical situations that feel tricky. \nFirst Aid Awareness Training can help! It gives you the skills and confidence to handle emergencies. Whether you’re a beginner or experienced\, these sessions provide a supportive space to express your journey through painting\, drawing\, or mixed media. The car park is located behind the building and accessed via Selly Wharf. Entry is controlled by barriers and an intercom system. \nPublic Transport: \n\nBy Train: Selly Oak train station is a two-minute walk from the venue.\nBy Bus: The venue is situated on Bristol Road and is accessible via main bus routes to and from Birmingham city centre.\n\nBus Routes: \nSense TouchBase Pears can be reached by a number of bus services that stop nearby on the Bristol Road. The 61 and 63 buses both stop on Eliot Road and at Selly Oak train station and run roughly every ten minutes throughout the day. These bus routes take you into or out of the city centre or in the opposite direction towards Longbridge.
