Join Birmingham City Council at the Library of Birmingham to mark World Alzheimer’s Day 2026 and help raise awareness of dementia, reduce stigma and connect people with local support.

The event will bring together local organisations to provide dementia awareness information, advice and guidance, wellbeing activities, community resources and support for Carers, families and friends.

Dementia Carers Hub partners will also be in attendance, offering information and support to people caring for someone living with dementia.

The Library of Birmingham will also be lighting up purple to mark World Alzheimer’s Day.
