Moving and Assisting Training at Stechford Leisure Centre

Tuesday, September 23 · 1:30 – 3:30pm 

As part of your caring role do you have to :

• Help the person you are caring for get in and out of bed?

• Help them to stand up from a chair and sit down?

• Assist to get in and out of a vehicle ?

• Help with bathing and personal care?

Are you using the correct techniques to ensure you do not cause injury to yourself or the person? This training will demonstrate how to carry out these and other tasks without the risk of hurting your back, pulling muscles etc.
